Biography Jessica is currently an Associate Professor in the Centre of Children and Young People’s Health, School of Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham. She has more than 20 years of experience working in various health and social care settings. As a mental health nurse, she has worked in child and adolescent inpatient and community services, as well as addiction, domestic abuse, youth offending, and probationary services. In addition, as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor), she has delivered the 0-19 Healthy Child programme and health promotion interventions for vulnerable families. Additionally, Jessica has delivered multiple mixed-method service evaluations for the UK’s National Health Service, as well as for local and National government organisations such as the UK’s Office of Health Disparities and Improvements. Her research fosters community collaboration to address systemic predictors of inequalities in health. Her previous work has explored complexities around key public health priorities such as infant feeding, childhood obesity, and children's mental health.
