Research Interests My primary research interest is infection dynamics; in particular, dynamics within host between pathogen, immune response and external therapies. My PhD thesis focused on the dynamics of Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli infections, how they are affect the immune response and how they are affected by various antibiotic treatment strategies. I also take an interest in mathematically modelling the climate and atmosphere (out of self-interest).
Teaching and Learning I currently teach mathematics on the Foundation Engineering and Physical Sciences course at the University of Nottingham. I also teach the 10 credit module MTHS2004 (differential equations and calculus for engineers) to second year chemical and environmental engineering students.
