Biography | Katherine Inzani is Assistant Professor in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham. She currently holds an EPSRC Quantum Technologies Career Development Fellowship. She achieved her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology before undertaking postdoctoral research at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. She is a member of the Berkeley Lab Molecular Foundry User Executive Committee. |
Research Interests | Design and discovery of advanced functional materials for quantum technologies and beyond Moore’s Law devices. Theory and computation of optoelectronic, magnetic, vibrational and defect properties. |
Teaching and Learning | Undergraduate teaching responsibilities have included lectures in advanced physical chemistry and functional materials, laboratory demonstrating and academic tutorials in physical chemistry, and 4th year research project supervision. Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). |
