Assistant Professor in Marketing

Biography I am an Assistant Professor in Marketing at NUBS. I completed my doctoral degree in 2018 from Nottingham University Business School. I have been working in academia in the UK, Australia and Sri Lanka. My primary research interest is in the area of Transformative Consumer Research (TCR) particularly focusing on consumer vulnerabilities in subsistence marketplaces and identity and emotional struggles consumers experience while changing unhealthy behaviours. I am also interested in areas of social marketing and critical marketing
