| Biography | Graduated in 1984 with BEng 1st Class Hons in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin. Worked at GEC ALSTOM Large Electrical Machines in Rugby from 1984 - 1990 - mainly as a rotordynamics and vibrations specialist. Joined Aston University as a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 and remained there becoming a Reader in Mechanical Engineering by 2000. Joined University of Nottingham in 2000 as Professor of Dynamics |
