Abstract
A high performance auxiliary power supply (APS) plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of power converter systems. In this paper, a Class E-based multichannel APS, featured with simple circuit structure, zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) realization, and stable output voltage against loads variations, is proposed for medium-voltage applications. Design considerations for obtaining the required output power and realizing load independent ZVS operation are also discussed. Experimental results are shown to demonstrate the feasibility of the converter and the effectiveness of the design.
