Abstract
This concluding chapter draws together ideas from the book and opens provocations for thinking towards shared global futures. These futures are shown to be complex, requiring pedagogies that are responsive by being both reactive and anticipatory. The authors from this volume contribute in this chapter to a metalogue in which they respond to a series of questions that ask them to reflect back on their chapters and suggest future directions for research, theory and practice. The editors conclude with considerations of possible futures and the value of hybrid thinking to ensure pedagogical responsiveness in increasingly complex contexts to achieve transformation, inclusion and equity.
