Biography | Worked in consumer research for the food industry following an MSc in Nutrition and a PhD in the psychology of eating. Made the transfer to research in the voluntary sector based on research skills. Next move was into local government studies and public policy, before settling into Uni of Nottingham as lecturer in Public Policy. |

Research Interests | Individuals in organisations; performance of organisations; relationships between organisations; relationships between organisations and users. The type of organisations in all this are those involved in public services and public policy at local level, mainly local authorities and third sector organisations, as well as other types of organisations that deliver or support the delivery of public services, e.g. social enterprises, schools, academies, hospitals, police forces. |
