ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
The article will take the following steps: first it will outline the main features of judicial delimitation. Then, it will examine the treatment of private rights in cases of land and maritime delimitation, respectively. Finally, the article will discuss the importance of the findings of this research and summarise the main conclusions. The study seeks to inform the academic discussion about the place of non- State actors in international case law. It is also addressed to States seeking to grant private rights in disputed areas, as well as to private actors holding interests in such regions.
