Abstract
This book offers a treasure trove of strategies, insights and resources designed to inspire early childhood educators to see the educational potential of the often taken for granted around us. What we are sharing here is not what we have planned and designed for the children we work with. It is the outcome of those plans and designs, once the children have had a chance to try them out. For some of the activities, we show you how things started in our mind, and how they actually came to life in the sessions with the children we worked with. The ideas we share here come from our experience of working with children and young people for the past decades.
