Abstract
In this chapter, the state-of-the-art in point cloud analysis and processing is presented, covering formal representation, preprocessing, partitioning, fitting and registration. Recent literature on the incorporation of measurement error and measurement uncertainty into point cloud analysis and processing is also discussed.
