Abstract
Resource-taking and time-consuming systematic review process motivated the scientists to consider outsourcing part of the burden to the computer programs. Although the automation of systematic reviews has not happened yet, however, worldwide efforts has lead into computer programs that can semi-automate some of sub-processes in systematic reviewing including searching, screening, extracting and analyzing the data, writing the report, and disseminating the evidence. International Collaboration for Automation of Systematic Reviews (ICASR) tries to keep on top of all the developments in the field and provide principles for the researcher to consider for the future developments. This talk will share the current status of automation of systematic reviews, available computer programs, and the road ahead of ICASR toward ‘living systematic reviews’.
