Research Interests My main research interest is to develop and apply advanced magnetic resonance methods for studies of biomolecules. Together with my collaborators we study:
• How amyloid-beta peptide interacts with a cell membrane, which is important for learning about Alzheimer's disease. Here we use solid state NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) where signals are enhanced by the DNP (dynamic nuclear polarization).
• How a protein complex called Ccr4-Not is constructed from its constituent subunits. This protein is responsible for gene regulation and we pulse EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance) to learn about its structure.
• Theory of EPR/NMR/DNP.
