Abstract

This short paper explores various aspects of Armando De Guio’s work through the lens of his discovery of an extraordinarily persistent border on the Luserna plateau, which seems to have conditioned human behaviour from at least the later Bronze Age, when it marked the boundary between proto-Rhaetic and proto-Venetic communities, to the present day, when it constitutes the provincial and regional boundary between Vicenza and Trentino.
